Yes, the ideal would have been to lay on the floor and shoot straight up but I new I would not have gotten away with that. Maybe next time.

Couldn't you have pretended to be blind drunk and trip over the bottom step? Works for me every time!

Or maybe not - straight up is what everybody does. I like this one.

I think a wider lens was called for, so I shot from that position in an attempt to get as much in as possible.
I could fall down and blame my age but then they might try and put me in an old folks home.

I was thinking the same, in fact thinking that I could study a setting like that for a long time and not come away with a composition and exposure as nice as Ron's. I like it a bunch.
