Hello everybody.
I've been meaning to join up for a long time and finally have. I've been a hobbyist for over 30 years, using a variety of Nikon bodies and Nikon/Nikkor and 3rd party lenses. I love shooting landscapes, nature, and sports. My next self-assignment is taking some informal senior portraits of my son.
In spite of over three decades in photography, I consider myself to have average skill at best, and I'm always looking to improve. And although I don't really plan to spend hours at the computer editing images, I definitely need to learn more about it. I'm very much a novice in this area.
Anyway, after lurking around a while, I know that there are a lot of knowledgeable people here and I know I will learn a lot.
