Yesterday I noticed a screw in my bike tire as we were getting ready to leave Wako. Luckily we live a little over a mile from there. I told Chris to leave it alone until we got home.
On the pedal home we spotted this Great Egret on the side of the road with what looked like a booboo leg. Chris wanted to stop, but I wanted to get home before I had to walk the bike home.
Today, he mounted the bike on my bike rack.
He was going to meet me at the bike store. On his way there, he noticed the egret was still in the same spot. He called me and I called SPCA Wildlife. They wanted to know if any one had approached the egret to see if it would fly off. I told them no, but I would go find out.

It couldn't fly, so I called SPCA Wildlife again with my report.
