Noise when tilting the camera

I am new to thed3200. When I have the camera on, I can hear some kind of noise when I tilt the camera forward or backward at a large angle. It sounds like something is lose. The noise disappear if the camera is off. Is the normal, or there is a problem with the camera .

Sometimes the VR elements can make a noise as they lock in,could it be this.

If it's still under warranty, what I would do is take it back to the store and ask them what the noise was. It may be that something internally has become dislodged, and may be reasonable grounds for a replacement.
