Small Town Architecture

I thought it may be nice to start a small town architecture thread - mainly because New Zealand is 'small town" :D

Here's the meeting centre on sporting nights in Raglan where everyone gathers for the big match on the big screen accompanied by a few beers and a meal.

This is at the main intersection in the town.

Right you lot all live in big towns I take it?

I took a walk around the village this morning with camera in hand and took some silly street shots. I thought they would all be terrible but there are some pretty brightly coloured ones amongst them.

first my favourite of the day. Not sure why it is I just liked the fact that the new owner of the shop is not running a cafe but has left the outer decor up.

Then a little bar top that has days off - I think.

Followed by A colourful bakery. Disappointing as I didn't get the full specials board on the left in. Grrrr ….

Then a nativity play which has a green hue created by me in an attempt to obscure the background - fail!
