It looks a little tame if you can get that close (or appears to be closer). Nice shot Sam.

LOL it's not tame at all in fact 30 minutes later a hunter came by and shot it dead. Hunting season is upon us here in Canada. Since my surgery I haven't been getting out much. However this morning I did take a ride in the bush in the comfort of my BMW X5 spoted this little buck with a couple does. Snapped a few hundred shots then drove off on my way back a hunter had killed it and was loading it on his truck completely legal and within his rights.

I love your shots and the stories behind. Even this story makes me sad.

It's the time of year where you do not look in or at closely at the back of trucks if you are squeamish. Someone got a big moose today that we followed on Hwy but then our local moose came by for walk up the road. I much prefer to see them alive

I used to hunt. I quit 10 years ago - I much prefer them alive now.
