Portrait critique

Why did you cut his chin off...

Maybe moved back a little bit, and gotten his whole head into the frame might have been a bit better. Maybe a bit higher aperture too, since his right eye seems pretty out of focus. As long as he's away from the background, you can still get pretty good blur at around 5.6 or so. Just my opinion! Keep shooting!!!

I think shooting in portrait would have looked better. Background is distracting.

I like it. The expression on his face really makes the photo!
