Experimenting

Well I decided to see if I could make up a "dodgy" flash diffuser to go on my on board flash. All I used was 1 x A3 paper and a couple pieces of sticky tape. Then went out bug hunting. These are not my best but I am fairly happy with my quick and rough set up.

Samples - These images had been cropped for the first framing and secondly as an extreme crop.

Scott... since the EXIF data gets stripped here... can you briefly describe the lens, and any extension tubes, bellows, etc that you used it the above shots...??

Hi Fred the above were shot with my Tamron SP 90mm Macro, LED Ring light, A3 paper over onboard flash hanging out above front of lens. +3.0 Exp Comp

These were handheld.

Ring light stays on full time, helps focusing. Flash fires when taking photo.

There are so many options, I just literally walk out side for a few minutes and take some photos then walk in and edit if needed and upload lol
