I took everyone's advice: tripod, lean on something, F11, and so on. I think I am getting it. The photo on the left is: F11, 1/100, with a 1.4 Tamron teleconverter and Nikon 2.8 105mm D lens. Very enjoyable. Thanks for looking ans thanks for your feedback.

These are definitely a big improvement over your initial shots! Terrific!!!

Lol! Not trying to be naughty! I'm not too familiar with bugs and their actions, but when I looked at the first photo and saw one front leg lying overtop of the other grasshopper, I wondered what the heck it was doing. Then I saw the second photo and went→:eek:
