Rodeo

There was some rodeo action @ the local heritage festival this weekend. This kind of thing ain't my bag, so I didn't stick around long, but I did manage to crack off a few shots:

Nice images. It's good to see participants starting to wear helmets instead of cowboy hats during the competition.

These guys were youngsters, just seniors in high school. Still doesn't offer much protection against an 1800 lb. bull though. The kid in the red got kicked in the chest and got a free ambulance ride.

I am not into rodeo either BUT I think I would have stuck around for a while clicking away. Nice shots.
