Nice! I am looking on an iPad, not a big screen, but the leaves look a little blurry. That's normal in both in-camera HDR and DIY HDR using multiple images in post if there is motion. The composition, exposure, detail, and color balance looks great on the log, though the color on my screen is a little over-saturated in the green parts.

The problem with digital photography is that we are all looking at different pics. Stuff I work on at home and post online can look terrible when I look at it at work or on my iPad or phone.

Actually doesn't look too bad when viewed on a wide screen. I'm not a big HDR fan, but this one isn't bad at all. Thanks for sharing. :)

I find it OK, but just for the details in the highlights and shadows. Unfortunately, I find there is a strong blue cast in part of the darker shadow that bugs me. I find Photomatix has a tendency to give that bluish cast to the shadow. It can be minimized with post processing, but in this case I find it distracting.
