AW 110 Gasket

Was wondering if anyone recommends using some kind of lubricant on the Nikon AW 110 Gasket? Every underwater camera I have used has required some sort of lubricant, such as Tribolube...this is what we use in the Navy on our diving equipment.

Right now every time I use the AW 110, I see a ring of water on the out side of the Gasket. Has anyone else had experience with the AW 110 and underwater use?

Wouldn't it be WORSE if the water were on the INSIDE of the gasket?

The link to the Nikon Info didnt tell me anything about caring for the gasket. Has anyone done anything to their gasket on the AW110. The water around the gasket inside the battery door, normal?
