I have this flash as well and am going to try some portraits as well , do you use shoot through umbrellas ?

May I ask what are the technical differences between a portrait and a headshot? It's my understanding that a headshot might only include the head and tops of the shoulders while portraits tend to include part of the chest area. For what venue do you do headshots? Models? Actors? Others?
