I would probably pass. Can't tell the performance of the diaphragm blades if they are still in good condition or not. Exterior wise it looks pretty beat up. I would consider the Samyang or Rokinon 85mm f1.4 manual focus lens instead if there is one in your area. I had one before but I was having a hard time with MF. Too impatient but I am getting used to it now.

What does the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.8G Lens go for in Australia?

I don't have access to ebay from work pc and assumed you were referring to a 1.8G. looking at that listing via mobile I concur. Pass on that particular lens. Theee are plenty of nice used 85mm versions out there
