Hello All,
I am planning to shoot a baptism this Saturday, i have read about using flash and no using flash and the D lenses.

I do have a D600 and a D7100 and a SB700

Should i use flash?
What kind of lenses should i use ?

I am planning to carry two cameras.

Thanks for your help,

3. Nikon 28-300 3.5-5.6 G
4. Nikon 24-120 1:4G
5. Nikon 70-200 1:2.8G II
6. Nikon DX 18-105 3.5-5.6G ED
7. Nikon DX 35mm 1.8 G
8. Nikon DX 55-300 4.5-5.6 G

I say the 70-200mm F2.8. My friend did one and the priest(?) did not like him up on the stage/alter so close shots were not applicable since he only had a 50mm. The F2.8 would help with low light. Please excuse my lack of terminology, I'm Buddhist.

Second thought maybe the 24-120, its only one stop more than the 70-200 and enables you to take a wide shot if necessary.

A 50mm prime will be ideal with your D600. If not, the closest would be the 24-120mm f4 with your SB 700 provided that flash photography is allowed by the priest.
