Is Video tethering possible with the nikon 7100?

Hello All,

I'm trying to make a few videos for a website I'm helping launch and am struggling with setting up the d7100 to tether video live to my laptop (macbook pro). Is this even a possibility? IF SO, which software would you guys recommend? I'm also assuming that an HDMI cable will be needed.

Have not tried it, but according to the D7100 documentation "Simultaneous display of movie and movie live view output on external monitors via HDMI"... You could probably start with something simple like iMovie...

Yes, I think the HDMI output is the only way.
