Starburst

I call this shot Starburst because it looks like a shot of a star you might see from space. However, it is actually the moon with the right atmospheric conditions. I absolutely LOVE this shot and am proud of it. Be sure to click and expand the photo or you will miss the detail of the stars in the picture.

LOL, yes I took the picture, it is mine. No it's not photoshop beyond increasing the contrast and removing the color from city lights.

What were the setting like seemed to be the intent

I shot this not being sure exactly what was going to come of it. Kind of a laboratory experiment that went right and I fell in love with it. I really had no idea where it was going and how it would come out in the end. Photography purely for fun with no expectations.

Honestly, looking at the city light and the high moisture in the air I figured it would all go to garbage.
