Tamron 90mm help

Evening all,

Quick one.
So I got this Tamron 90mm Di Macro 2.8 the other day. Great lens. Just one 'bug'.
According to the display on the camera, the widest I can set the aperture is only 3.2.
BUT... according to Lightroom, they're being taken at 2.8.
Weird.....

Thoughts?

My 85mm micro Nikkorwill do the same thing. When set to f3.5 and focus approaches 1:1, the aperture displays as f4. I believe close focusing changes the focal length of the lens.
