My nephew had a YMCA basketball game last night and asked if I would go and take some pictures of him and his friends playing in it.
I hesitantly said yes because I had never done anything like that before. All I thought I really had to use was my 70-300mm f/4-5.6
lens which I didn't think was fast enough. So shooting manual I selected an ISO of 800 shot and got NADA just a blank black preview screen.
So I said WTH, cranked the ISO up to 3200 and got these photos. My Brother-in-Law is the coach of his team and said no flash photography
was allowed while the game was going on. I think they came out pretty good for such a high ISO and never having done photography like it before.
