im noob so i got a question did the Tamron 18-200mm F/3.5-6.3 AF DI-II LD IF Lens auto focus on a nikon 5200??

and if did it how you compare it with the stock nikon 18-55 ??

I have not shot with it so I really can't say anything about the quality.

Yes it will focus on your 5200. I own that lens and it is a fine lens, but the kit lens is slightly sharper.

I had been looking at it but due to some of the reviews I decided on the Nikon 18-105. It should be here tomorrow

I think dig.com had this lens on sale today for about $155. Looked tempting, but I got it covered with other lenses.
