Hello everyone :)

I love taking landscape pictures but I'm having a hard taking portrait pictures, My friend wants me to take her family christmas pictures and I'm nervous the pictures wont turn out the way they want them. what lens should I use? Any suggestions how to take portrait pictures?

Do you have a 50mm lens, you might want to try that. If it is inside that you are shooting make sure you have the right lighting (speedlights, etc.).
The f1.8 50mm is great for portraits. Blue crane digital has a great video on lighting and taking portraits, you might want to check that out :).
