Thanks to everybody who participated in photo challenge #8"Outer Space"


This challenge starts Friday June 28th 2013 and submissions are Due July 9th @ 8pm. The theme is "Independence Day"


Each Photo must contain "two elements" example a photos of fireworks with everyone cheering, or a US flag with fireworks. NO Photoshopped elements. Must be in real work situations.


An example of an image that doesnt count would be a photo of just fireworks, or just a flag.




Judging will be on July 10th @ 8pm.

Basically if you take a picture of fireworks you can't take a separate picture of a flag and use photoshop to add it in, however photos must have 2 elements. Meaning a picture of fireworks and in the same frame a flag is flying or people are cheering. Must be real and not photoshopped.

Enjoying it immensely... so glad I got it (actually the BOSS got it for me..) Appreciate yours and Ricks feedback..

I am comfortable with the main controls and it is almost 2nd nature... Still learning all the potential's!

I went Sunday (today) at 8pm and see the channel is at least posted up (a good thing!)

Unfortunately, I see that it is now set for 11:15pm.. I will not be able to make it as I have to be up for work at 4am. I will miss attending but hope that everyone has a good time. Enjoy & Good Luck!

I know... but it usually gets posted here.. Thats what I was looking for... Besides, that way the deadline is always at my finger tip when my memory lapses... :) (Often)

No problem, I can check spree when I get back from Buffalo motorcycle road trip Tuesday...

Just looked on flickr and still no entries... Everyone must be waiting until the last second!! :)

I do not have an entry as I was in Buffalo until Tuesday and the idea I had required 2 people and my wife works nights... that and we were out at a fundraiser all day... I will glance through my shots the past week but doubt there is anything worthy of the "Anything Goes" Topic..

Good luck to all and I hope to be back the next challenge....

Ok, hate to miss the challenge... so I grabbed a photo from last week... had no real time to go through them and I just made it in under the wire! Won't win but it is not a bad photo...

I am restarting the photo challenge. Everyone can enter, pat you can re enter. The only entry moving over is pirate as its a great shot.

We are going to redo this challenge, no holds barred of anything.

It starts today August 1st and submissions due submissions due August 8th judging on Friday August 9th @ 7pm.
