Help choosing lens

I have a 18-300mm nikon lens. A 35mm, 85mm, 18-105mm, 50mm. I am thinking of getting the 16-85mm. Do you think the 16-85mm might be overkill considering the 18-300mm? I am looking at the perspective of a general walking around lens. Thanks for any input.

You'll probably gain some image quality with the 16-85 over the 18-300 and the 3mm increased perspective on the wide end is nice. Although you have the majority of that range already covered. How about an ultra-wide to compliment the range you already have?

I'd say your 18-105mm could cover your walk about needs, and you could spend the money instead on a wider zoom instead (10-24mm maybe?)

Thanks. I will consider an ultra-wide. What I like, though, about the 16-85mm is the metal mount as opposed to the plastic mount of the 18-105mm. And I'm hearing it's a better image. Though I know a lot of people are satisfied with the 18-105mm. So I may go with the 16-85 and look into the ultra wide.
