Great shot but I do have a question about the EXIF data

I was using a Nikon 300mmF4 with my 1.4 TC makes the lens a 420mm. Aperture was 7.1 not F2

Pretty good that it knew you had the converter on but that was probably the reason it screwed up the Aperture. I was just wondering when I saw the data.

I don't know why it came out F2 …... that would be a $50k or more lens - probably more cause no one make one

Would be nice though. I am sure the TC is screwing with the readings. Mainly I just wanted to see how close you were to that bear. At 420mm you are not TOTALLY crazy.

My wife and I were on vacation in the mountains last year and were driving through the forest on a narrow road and came up on a traffic jam. We got out and followed the line of cars till we saw all the people looking into the woods. There was a momma bear and two cubs playing in sight of the road. They keep moving away from all the people down the road. A short distance the bank on the side of the road got to high to see over and there were some parents that picked their kids up and put them on the bank with the bears so they could see them better. Now those people were Totally Crazy.

Glad this is a picture of a bear in nature Must have been amazing watching him/her live. Great shot.
