Nikon D 7100 flash

Hi, how can I disable Nikon D7100 flash. I want to shoot in dim light without using flash.

Shoot in a mode other than Auto. Put it on Program

I have the 7000 not 7100 but when I first started using my 7000 I used the no flash auto (circle with a lightning looking arrow symbol), then used P. If you stick around here, read your manual and read through posts you'll quit using auto or P and find great satisfaction in choosing your own settings and getting the shot you want the way you want

Move the Mode Dial to the "No Flash" setting (between Auto and Scene) or use P, S, A or M modes which, by default, will not fire the flash unless you enable it.
