New firmware for the FT1 !!!

Nikon has released a new firmware that lets the FT1 adapter be used in AFC not just in AFS/MF. Make sure you have the most current firmware on your camera before you do the FT1 firmware.

Be warned that some folks have done the firmware update only to discover their Tamron lenses no longer focus for them. This looks like it only works for Nikon AFS lenses.

I read elsewhere that some folks are reporting that the update disabled support for some third party lenses.

I have read that Tamron lenses will not auto focus with the firmware update. Not sure about Sigma, but I'd guess it would be the same.

Any idea Where to find the previous firmware?

As far as I know once the new firmware is on your camera there is no way to go back.

Just want to let you good folks know that the Firmware to let the V1 use AF-C with the FT1 works great. Here are a couple of shots from the last race at Mid Ohio race track. These were taken with a 55-200VR.
