Some beautiful examples in this one with great ideas! Thanks, Jake! This is one of my favorite areas!

Good timing for this article seeing as how tonight is a new moon. I'm off to the Salton sea tonight. Hoping I'm far enough north east to get really dark skies.

Edit - tomorrow night is the official new moon. Tonight we get the tiny sliver of the moon just before sunup.

Looks like a great article I bookmarked it so I can go back and give each idea a try. Looks like lots of fun to try this summer
