Shooting sports with a V1

In a week & a half the Grand Am series is coming to Mid-Ohio. I've been agonizing over what camera to take, my D7000 or my V1. My back is all jacked up & a lightweight kit would be a lot easier for me to handle. Decisions decisions. Anyway I was looking at photos I shot with my V1 last year. They look good to my eye. What say ye? Thanks.... ​

These are all great. The J1 / V1 provides faster fps to get the best shot possible.

Totally agree with Glenn. In daylight, there is little that will focus faster than the Nikon 1 series. Which lens were you using?

All shots were done in shutter priority. I find that while the fast shutter really helps it's the cracking auto focus that wins the prize. Man I really love this little camera.

The top photo was the 30-110 at 110mm 1/200 F6.3 iso 100

The second shot was the 30-110 at 71.6mm 1/200 F6.3 iso 100

The last one was with the 10-30 at 12.7mm 1/100 F4 iso 360
