SB910 problem (intermittent flash)

I was using my SB910 in remote mode last night with no problems. I moved the SB910 back to my D7000 and now it wont fire. It wont even fire with the test button. I have charged the batteries and pulled them out hot and replaced then I got a few flashes out of it but now I am back to no firing at all. I hit the reset button in menu as well. I think I have tried everything except throwing it against the wall.

There is no way it overheated.

I am pretty sure the flash needs to go back to Nikon but I figured I would ask if anyone has any suggestions.

Any advice is appreciated.

Is your camera set at TTL or commander mode?

RE: SB 910. Do you even hear the flash charging and get a ready indicating light? Did the flash get wet that would make it faulty?
