Last night/Early this morning (all hand held)
First 2 were with my 35mm 1.8G

The show was just too big and I couldn't capture much with my 35mm so went and tried my 18-55 kit lens instead
Still could only capture very small portions though

I thought it was neat to capture the satellite going by as well hubby thought I just couldn't stay still enough but stars and trees are in focus its just the satellite leaving a trail

I spent over an hour out there at 1am watching the sky dance

Feel free to try and PP them if you'd like I don't have the tools or the know how

you seen and snapped this, most of us will never see it only thru your pics, great job

Its awesome to watch especially these big ones quite often it only lasts a few mins here but last night it just kept dancing and changing and I was out for about an hour. The first couple I captured were of the purple and green skies but I didn't have my focus set properly Much easier to do hand held when not sitting on the ice LOL

I went back and added photo info since this is in the learning photography area. I added my photo times as well since I thought you might find it interesting how quickly the sky changes although some of my photos got mixed up when copying and uploading to gallery Sorry.
