Newbie Saying Hello!

Greetings! I'm so glad to have found this forum because, like others I am a member of, I have long realized if you want to learn about anything the very BEST source of knowledge to do so is from the folks who do it! Having looked through the discussions here, I believe I made the right choice! I am here to hopefully help advance my limited knowledge as a photography hobbyist to the next level as, at the very least, semi-Pro! I recently upgraded my camera from a D40 to a D5100 so I will be searching for and asking questions specifically pertaining to it. I look forward to participating and sharing where I can!

Guidelines to adding a photo to your post.

1. Resize photo to 1000px on the long side.
2. Resolution set to 72px

These guidelines will be good for viewing on a computer but will not be good for printing. This will help safeguard your copyright.
