A few shots from our recent trip to Paris.

I bought a Nikon P7700 specifically for the trip because I did not want to lug my DSLR around. Since it rained nearly every day it was probably a good decision but I sure missed my DSLR.

Thanks. I can't really say the P7700 and I ever bonded. It was a big transition from looking through my DSLR viewfinder to trying to compose from an small LCD screen. Most of the time I couldn't see a thing due to glare. But it did make shooting over the heads of the crowd easier.

All in all a nice little camera. Very light and portable but still full-featured for someone used to a DSLR.

I knew I've seen that statue in the 6th pic before... from my last trip to Paris:

Edit: I guess it's not the exact one - maybe one or two over?

LOL! I've got your statue too. We must have stood in the same spot at the Luxembourg gardens. You can see the small statue from my original post on the pedestal to the right.

Excellent photos all! They almost make me want to try and qualify for the French Open again, just to go there and get some photos.
