tethering software

Hi guys, Do any of you know of a tethering software that WORKS with the D3000? I've tried digicamcontrol and diy-something- with no luck. Apparently this camera model is old enough to not work with any of the tethering software out there, not even lightroom. What I want to do is control with my laptop my camera on a tripod for some sky/stars shooting. You know... live view to adjust settings, fast review and all that. ​Thanks for the help.

Supported cameras | digiCamControl will do some for the D3000 but not live view.

I tried this SW but somehow it is not working on my laptop, I have all the requirements installed. AV is not detecting it as dangerous.

I have it on my laptop and use it with my d5100

It is great

Hey try this it works great with my d3000 its a little buggy sometimes but nothing a shutdonw and restart of the program wont sort
