Just got this yesterday: Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC HSM - Nikon Product Database

The person I bought it from just bought it in January, they retail for CDN $599 (about US$580) here in Canada, plus sales tax. I got it for $275! Couldn't pass it up. With a 10 year warranty.

First impression; this lens is so much fun! I can't wait to take it on summer vacation to Europe. It allows for so many different types of shots I would not have had otherwise. It focuses fast and is solidly built.

I went for a quick drive this morning, here are a few samples compared to my Nikon 18-70mm DX kit lens.

First picture is with the Sigma at 10mm:

This is with my 18-70mm lens at 18mm:

Congrats!! Great deal! I bought mine about 7 years ago and it has been awesome! I love the UWA perspective.

This Lens was on my list before I got the 16-85. I think I am going to put on my list again. For some special occasions it will serve me great.

yes, I did not see those spots before, they show up on the blue sky. Will take it in to get cleaned. I bought the camera in March and have been meaning to take it in and to get a good cleaning, now it is obvious it needs it. Thanks.
