This is the latest model before the VR.
The MKII model has the same optics as the VR lens (VERY sharp), lighting fast AF and full compatibility with all Nikon TC's

I am selling it as I have the 500mm and this is too heavy for my wife so she wants the 80-400mm instead.

The lens is close to mint and comes with the carbon fiber hood and a brand new lens coat.

Photos of the lens below as well as a shot of a 20 note using the D800 in DX mode and a 2x TC so: 300 x 2 x 1.5 = 900mm effective

I already have an offer for p/x for a D800e so I will leave this here for a day before I give it in to a shop.

Price is only 1900 + delivery including the camo cover or near offer.
