Bee & Flower

D300 & 50mm F1.8 At F5.6

This is the kind of flower and insect work I like. Reminds me of Chinese paintings. Done with a 50mm stopped down to the sweet spot. Note the 5.6 aperture blurs the background very nicely - you don't have to shoot wide open to get blur folks. And the photographer has balls because he isn't afraid of getting stung. Excellent work Alan. A and a star for you sir...

A very eautiful flower - bee photo. The flower on top is cut if not it will be a very great perfect shot.
