Compatible Lens

Hi,

Is the AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.4G compatible with the D5200? Amazon says it is not compatible. I am planning to rent this lens for a family event. Thanks.

This looks like a FX lens so maybe one of our FX users can answer this for you.

That feature that Amazon.com has on their website is not correct. Any lens that has AF-S will work with your camera including the Nikon 35mm f1.8G DX lens that Ron suggested.

I wonder why this post did not show up immediately. I thought that since I referenced an outside link it was automatically blocked. So I fired another post which can be seen below. But since this post has been answered as well, thank you very much for all replies.
