First Robin of spring:​

Some photos of some very far away aircraft. Cropped.​

So, i really put the D80 to the test tonight, along with the 70-300. D80 tops out at ISO 1600, lol. I was unable to get Speedbird 95 (British Airways 777) come over head tonight after the sun had more or less gone down. But, i was able to get a Robin just before 8pm. Shutter was 1/5 and lens was at 300mm, 1100 to 1400 iso. The VC on the Tamron is awesome! ​

Thought i would add the word "project" to the original title. With spring and summer coming, there will be alot more photo opportunities coming along. It won't be every day, but i will just keep posting my "just having fun and messing around" photos here.

No, really. It's a bird and a plane.

Moon:​

Thankyou. It was hard to get the right exposure because it was so bright on the very far right side of the moon. I took many shots. It's really fun to take the camera out every day and shoot all sorts of things. It really lets you get to know your equipment.
