D7000 and 18-55 vr

Hello guys,

I would like to ask you a technical question. If the autofocus motor in the 18-55 vr not working, (no af and vr, but lightmeter focus works) perhaps because it doesn't get power, could the D7000's inside AF motor autofocus with the lens or not?

no, it only comes into play when using screw drive lenses. (like the af-d series).
if af and vr do not work try cleaning the contacts.

If you are having problems with AF maybe the point between camera and lens are dirty...Try cleaning with them with a rubber...
