Hello from not so sunny England

Just to say hello, hope these forums can help me get to the finer points of my new Nikon D600.

I've been a keen photographer for years without the gear to go with my passion, but as a present to myself for my 40th i got the lovely D600, very happy with it.

Thanks folks.. its the best present i've got myself in a very long time!

One thing i'm a bit annoyed about is by ordering it from Hong Kong i somehow only received a Slovakian & Czech manual! Weird and not very helpful.

You mean you don't speak Slovakian or Czech? haha. Rosetta stone... lol. There are links to download the manual in english, and it isn't size 2 font. I have a PDF version of it, if you want me to e-mail it. It's in ancient hieroglyphics.. you speak that. Right? j/k. It's in english.

Yeah i've downloaded the online pdf manual. It will suffice, but having an original manual in English would have been nice. It was a 'wtf' moment when i realised the two included manuals were in Slovakian & Czech
