Im buying a refurbished 55-300. Almost every place I find sells them for $249. It seems like that is a manufacture set price. Nikon sells the lens for $249.

Kennmore camera sells them for $219 buy it now on ebay. Nikon AF s 55 300mm DX VR Lens Nikon Factory Refurbished 2197B 0018208021970 | eBay

The model number is 2197B in one place and 2197 in another. Is the B signifigant?

On Kennmore Camera's web page they sell the refurbished lens for $299.

Does anything about the listing and price seem suspicious?
has anyone heard of Kennmore camera?

The thing I like about these people is the Full 1 year Warranty. Most of the other places only give you a 90 day warranty. I bought my D5100 from them and have been very pleased with it. Looks and acts like new. The service when buying was good too.

I bought my 5100 from Cameta Camera, But after shipping the lens from Kennmore will be $40 cheaper. The price seems too good to be true, so I'm a little scared.

It appears to be a US Lens (not grey market), and they have some pretty good feedback on ebay. I would buy from cameta just for the 1 year warranty though.
