Hi everyone,
My name is Mitch, I previously loved my Nikon film camera but sold it some years ago due to that illness called "being POOR".
Recently i was given by a friend a D200 body which he bought and never used and it seems really good, my problem is i haven`t any lenses at all.
So this is a request to maybe someone out there less ill with poorness than me, i can afford a little money but not enough to buy me anything new, my friend sugested a 18-55 as a good starter, any advice is welcome, I would love to get this lovely looking camera up and running.
Regards to you all.

Welcome Mitch.
The 18-55 is a very good lens. I use mine as my major walking around lens. You might also look into the 35mm or 50mm f/1.8 lenses. (great for low light).

Mitch, welcome to Nikonites!! The 18 - 55 is a decent lens and you can pick them out pretty reasonably priced~~ Enjoy your new camera!
