I don't know where to find stars like that here in Kansas, great shot I like the purple tint to it as well. More would be nice!

It was taken in Anillaco, La Rioja (Argentina). It's a very small village near of some mountains, and in night there's like no light in the sky. A perfect place to take this kind of pics.

I'm going coming in 2 weeks, hoping to try some star shots!
