You can use your SunPak just do not hook direct to your camera. Use a wireless system to fire or use one of the hot shoe PC adapters that will protect your camera this is one of the brands out there Olympus hot shoe safe sync. Sell for about $70.00 at Adorrama both ways work well you can get a set of wireless for about $50.00 I use Strobbies and they work great.
