More D7100 Images

The 7100 image seems to have been taken from a position closer to the building. The shutter speed is also faster.
The 7000 seems to say that 85mm is = to 127mm (35mm) but 7100 says = to 85mm. I couldnt translate it so I may be missing something.

I preordered a D7100 a few weeks ago. When it arrives, I'll run a similar test vis-a-vis my D7000 and see how to stacks up. The lack of AA filter is one of the main reasons I ordered the camera.

What you are missing is the fact that the 7100 creates a larger file than the 7000, thus a larger image at 100%. From that single comparison, the 7100 file does look quite a bit sharper.
