I'm capturing the hdmi from my D800 to the blackmagic design hyperdeck studio.
An image is worth a thousand words so, I have to pictures taken from video recorded to internal memory and to the hyperdeck studio.
Camera settings are the same in both pictures, the only difference is how the video was recorded:
Recorded to SD card
Recorded to hyperdeck studio (D800 --HDMI--> ATEM 1 ME --SDI--> Hyperdeck studio)
HDMI output resolution is set to auto, recording setting 1920x1080;30. Any other settings give no picture which is very strange...
Any ideas of what is going on here?
If I try connecting the camera to the hyperdeck directly (HDMI), the hyperdeck just wont show any picture doesnt matter which settings I choose for the HDMI out. People from a forum at balckmagic design say the HDMI output in DSL camera is just not good enough, not giving "legal" framerate... I wonder what Nikon has to say....
