Sigma 18-200mm OS

Here is the newest addition to our family, little Josee. She is a rambunctious little thing and has teeth like needles and likes to use them.

I shot this with my new Sigma 18-200 OS image stabilization lens $370 http://www.adorama.com/SG18200SNK.html?kbid=64905 that I got a few days ago. I love my Nikon 18-200 VR lens http://www.adorama.com/NK18200DXNU.html?kbid=64905 but couldn't justify spending another $760 for this lens for my secondary camera.

I am still giving the Sigma a workout and so far it has worked well at half the price but I will put it through more tests tomorrow before I give it a thumbs up.

Great shot and I'm not really a cat person, very sharp. I have the Nikkor version and have loved the lens, you'll surely enjoy the range of the lens.

How do read the exif data from someone else's posted pic? Are you using some kind of exif viewer or downloading the photo and opening it in LR or photoshop? Seems like a lot of work.

I hope to pick up a D300 soon, just want a little more usuable headroom on the ISO, I don't jump at the new models too fast, and I am still very happy with my old D200 but it is going on five years so maybe it's boredom.

The D200 is still a great camera, nothing wrong with it at all.
