Visited the National Museum of Natural History at Harvard University yesterday...My wife took this in the glass flowers exhibit with the D7000 (yes these are hand made of glass...I cropped it a bit)... Love the flowers. It's hard to believe they are glass.

Is that black blob above the blue crystals dino dung or some kind of soidified lava lump?

Another shot of crystals with the D800, 50 mm 1.4 G, just to illustrate the resolution. The crystals are around maybe six inches across.

Went out after work to a building next door to do some interior/exterior shots with the D800.

First with the 50 mm f1.4 G.

While I was shooting through the glass, I noticed three helicoptors in the sky filming something. Here is one of them...uncropped.

I thought it would be nice to have a 300 mm lens at that point, but of course who needs one when you have 36.3 MP to play with. Here's the 100% crop. ;)
