Same idea for me Rick. Just no time lately due to work schedule. Will post whenI can. Doing 10 hr days and working 6 days a week makes Clayton a tired Boy to pick up the camera.

Take a look at the difference HDR makes in B&W!

The first is the normal exposure. I could not brighten the image without blowing out the snow. The HDR version handled the snow and background details very well.

Are you doing the conversion as a part of the HDR processing, or doing HDR and then converting? I much prefer the latter, at least with the Nik software. A lot more options, though both produce some great results.

I merge and adjust in Photomatix first, then convert to B&W in LR if I want. Leaves options open.
