I see some vignetting but I suppose that is to be expected with a 300mm focal distance. I also do not know what you mean by Flickr Explore 'algorithm'. What brand of lens did you use and what were the settings?

Heavily processed in Adobe Camera RAW.
I Maxed out the exposure. Then lots of Blacks and lots of Contrast.
Converted to mono. Colour filter applied...

As far as I understand, images are selected for inclusion in Flickr Explore by computer software. Flickr: Discussing The Explore Algorithm Laid Bare in Secrets Of Explore
